As Opticians we think lenses are the most important part of your spectacles. While many patients feel they want to spend as much as they can afford on really nice frames, we encourage you to consider investing in better quality lenses. You look at the world through your lenses, but the world looks through your lenses at you. When you purchase a frame and lenses at our practice, we will include a special coating to reduce nasty reflections on your lenses – most useful for night driving, photos or public speaking. We spend more time advising patients on the very many types of Varifocal lenses available today, then any other lens form. Recent adances in lens design have brought about a completely new generation of Varifocal Lenses - Back Surface Individually Designed lenses. Many of the ID generation of lenses tend to be rather expensive - but the latest Kodak Unique lens is really superb to wear, and by comparison very cost effective.
